Ruins of Threads

Personal piece started a while ago and finished in small chunks over the months. Painted in Photoshop with a heavy pixel‑paint approach for the final, while the early sketches were done using noise and the OnePixelBrush technique. I’m trying to maximize the time spent on sketching/painting and avoid a 3D workflow in this kind of work, because in the long run, I feel that 3D can kill the painting’s mood and spontaneity, especially for the illustration vibe.

Final illustration painted in Photoshop using a mix of mixer brushes, custom cloner brushes, and sharpening tools, aiming for a subtle impasto‑like texture. The piece relies heavily on photobashing and post‑processing to refine shapes.
