SF Environment Concept – Rejected Project "Going Nowhere"

A series of simple post-apocalyptic sci-fi environment concepts created using speedpaint and overpaint techniques. The focus is on quick, flat shapes, dynamic brushes, and subtle color variations to explore a wide range of ideas. These are discarded concepts and visual experiments that emphasize bold compositions and distinct moods for an unfamiliar world.
Abandoned building basements and other derelict structures feature prominently, helping to establish a sense of decay and mystery throughout the series. Rather than relying on dramatic lighting, the scenes aim for a quieter, more suspenseful atmosphere — an uneasy calm that feels almost too still, creating tension through subtle mood, restrained illumination, and a lingering sense of anticipation.
